Synopsis of “Ecstasy- The Beginning”

Princess aka (Sylvia Johnson) is a voluptuous yet insecure woman who has a lot to learn when it comes to men. She is naive and often misguided in her pursuit for true love, but one thing she is not is a quitter. She will stop at nothing to get the man of her dreams, Cornell Thomas. A successful financial adviser with looks to kill. There is one thing in her way however, Cornell’s venomous girlfriend Shandra who has so much confidence and game that she can even put a pimp on lock down. Shandra’s sexual skill has Cornell’s nose wide open. The only thing Sylvia has on her side is the knowledge of Shandra’s scandalous past, which is filled with secrets behind every door. Will Sylvia be able to pull out enough tricks to get Cornell to see the light? The game is on! Demure Lady vs. Sultry Vixen. Who will win Cornell’s heart in the end is anyone’s guess, but one thing’s for sure it will be a hell of a ride to the finish line. Explicit sex, language, subject matter.

What is erotica noir?

I feel Erotica Noir is a combination of passion, and adventure that leaves you on the edge of your seat wanting more.  Noir comes from the French equivalent of “black,” so technically Erotica Noir means Black Erotica.

How did you get started in this genre?

I was inspired to start writing erotica by my mentor Zane.  Although I don’t know Zane personally, I consider her to be my literary sister.  It’s because of her that I can write with no inhibitions.  I feel Zane broke the mold and took erotica to a whole new level, and for that I am eternally thankful to her!

Tell me about your radio show on blogtalklive?

My radio show has been running for [several] weeks now.  It’s called, “Late Night Love.” It’s scheduled to be on every Thursday night at 11pm EST.  My radio show focuses on love, relationships, and sexuality.  I have always been somewhat of a counselor to everyone around me, and now that I am writing erotica people want to come to me for romantic advice.  I love talking to new callers live on the air because their stories and issues often times inspire me.

What motivated you to write a book?

My motivation was a lack of adventure.  I am a homebody, and writing gives me a way to travel to places I’ve never been.  In my stories I can do anything, and everything without fear of repercussion.  I love the freedom that writing brings to my life.  Since I was young I have always used writing as a way to escape.

Are you planning a sequel?

Yes, I am currently writing the sequel to my book now.  My characters are evolving more in this next book, and it will be interesting to see how the readers respond to the progression of my Erotica Series.

Hometown?

I was born in California, but now I reside on the East Coast.  No matter where I live however, I will always consider California my home.

Anything interesting about your background that you’d like people to know about you?

Yes, I have been writing all my life, and although this is my first book it’s not my first story.  I have written many short stories that I never attempted to publish.  In the beginning I wrote erotica for fun, but now I want to share my literature with the world.  I would love to be able to write full time for a living, and make it my main career.  Along with my love for erotica, I also enjoy writing poetry and music.  I have been a member of ASCAP’s songwriters association for over 5 years now, and I’m also in the process of joining RWA which stands for Romance Writers of America.  Anything that has to do with literature or verbal creativity is my forte.  I look at myself as I literary artist.  I use my words as a paint brush to create a picture in your mind.  I want my readers to feel like they are in the room with my characters, and that’s why I carefully detail each event, and scenario in my book.  I want you to experience everything I say word for word.  When I say, “He touched my arm, and I felt an eruption fill my body.” I want you to feel that heat as if someone was really touching you.
