FOX’s hit reality singing competition series “American Idol” just celebrated 10 year anniversary of the show’s debut on June 11, 2012. The show has introduced us to many people whose voices and personal lives have touched our own. Michael “Big Mike” Lynche was a fan favorite during the show’s ninth season. At the time, we watched Big Mike became a first time daddy and also “American Idol”‘s second contestant ever saved by the judges since the rule was invoked in season 8. On May 15, 2012, Big Mike, now 80+ pounds slimmer and a 2nd time daddy, debuted his first single, an R&B track that he co-wrote with Jason Pennock and Jamie Jones, “Who’s Gonna Love You More” on Big3 Records. It debuted at #36 on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay and is likely to inch its way into other music charts. The single is available for download from iTunes. A video for “Who’s Gonna Love You More” as well as a full length album are both in the works.

His single “Who’s Gonna Love You More” is on some Babyface meets Luther stuff. I highly recommend his CD.
