I just wanted to take a moment to catch people up on a few of Lo Bosworth from MTV’s “The Hills” current projects in case you’re like me and haven’t really checked in on her lately. I have been to her site before, and it’s really nice. The book is something I’m just curious to see what becomes of it. ~Ifelicious
Lo-Down the book
Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers announced that it will be publishing reality show ingenue Lauren “Lo” Bosworth‘s dating survival guide, “The Lo–Down” (pre-order HERE). “The Lo-Down” will include Lo’s own trials and tribulations in the dating world, as well as offer advice that she garnered from being a helpful source of guidance for her friends, including some of her co-stars on “The Hills.” “The Lo-Down” will go on sale in January 2011, with a first printing of 100,000 copies.
Lo has certainly witnessed her fair share of really bad dating and has also experienced a lot herself. As a star on two popular reality shows, she is no stranger to relationship drama and what comes with it. Now, she is sharing anecdotes from her experiences (and her friend’s love lives, too) from the relationships that you’ve been enthralled with on both “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills.” Filled with all of the personal photos, insider dish and drama that you’ve wanted to see from these shows, The Lo-Down is a further glimpse into the lives of the people that have been a main-stay in popular culture for years.
Bosworth says, “I’ve always been the girl that others go to for advice and at my age, the topic of discussion is almost always guys and relationships. Helping my friends has always come naturally to me, and I’m so thrilled to gain a whole new group of girlfriends through The Lo-Down.”
The Lo Down website
Lo has also launched TheLoDown.com. TheLoDown is a guide to fashion, relationships, the good life and everything in between. Whether it’s tackling your first date, decorating your new apartment, or advice about the best fashion buys and hippest hot spots, Lo’s team will share advice straight from their own personal experiences, answer reader questions and much more. Published daily, TheLoDown features five categories: Relationships, Health and Fitness, Style, Beauty, and Life.
The site gives readers the ability to ask questions, which will be answered by Lo and her team in website postings. “I’m thrilled to get to know my audience on an entirely new level with TheLoDown,” says Lo. “We are creating a community and giving the users the power to drive conversation and interact with one another.”
