They’re back! Lauren, Lo, Audrina, Heidi, Spencer, Brody, and Stephanie returned with the superficial drama, orchestrated or not, that we have all grown to love. As season groupies already know, this is the last season for The Hills as Lauren looks to continue her life off-camera.
The season opened with 2 episodes where the long forecasted reconciliation between Lauren and Heidi seems to be underway, but not without reservation from Lauren who still (like the rest of the world) can’t stand Spencer.
Do you think it was appropriate for Heidi to show up at Lauren’s birthday party as an uninvited guest?
Do you think that Stephanie is meddling too much between Heidi and Lauren? Do you think her brother Spencer is justified by continuing his loyalty defense?
What would you do if you heard your fiance was extra flirty with a hot bartender? …and then ended up in a bar brawl when confronted?
The second episode shows Heidi retreating back home to her parents in Colorado as she again questions her relationship and future with Spencer. Heidi’s mama pulls a classic mom move by arranging for an old boyfriend to “coincidentally” stop by dinner. Heidi was a good sport, but you could tell she was still pining over her fiance, and sort of married- at least as Mexico is concerned, Spencer.
I’m sure with this being the last season, there will be lots of closure and a few unexpected revelations, especially since Audrina is set to be the next spinoff from The Hills cast to have her own show.
Will Lauren and Heidi’s relationship ever return to life as besties?
Are Heidi and Spencer a relationship built to last?
I guess we’ll stay tuned as this season unravels.
p.s. Am I the only one that wasn’t feeling the ruby red lipstick on Lauren for her birthday party? It was too much, unflattering in my opinion, but hey, what do I know?
p.p.s. What was up with Lauren not feeling the boat as the location for her party?
