For a long time, I was outspoken about the incident where Chris Brown beat up Rihanna. I was not only mad that it happened, but I was angered by Chris Brown’s seeming lack of remorse when communicating online and in television interviews. Where was his true mea culpa moment?
Dear Buck (or shall i call you “JerBuck”)…
* Uh, honey, it’s a long “u” sound for Kid Cudi. Sings that song “Day and Night” check it out.
* The girl with the big hat was the guitarist from Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” tour. She had a huge moment in the documentary. Hmmm, wondering if you saw it.
* I’m with you on Rihanna. Outfit was wack. She looked like could hurt me with those spikes in her shoulder pads. Maybe it was a protective move in case someone tried to beat her in the car (i know… that was wrong… ha ha!)

November 23, 2009 — Tonight’s America Music Awards was like no other I have ever experience; kudos to Dick Clark Productions for an emotional, empowering, and entertaining production! The set-designs were awesome and applause to Larry Klein for suburb direction! I see an Emmy for this award show!
This week, I’m taking a more serious turn from my regular Throwback Friday posts in light of Rihanna speaking out about abusive relationship at the hands of Chris Brown. Also, I have maybe a handful of artists at most that are my absolute favorites and Tracy Chapman is one of them. It was actually my dad that introduced me to her. He received a copy of her self titled debut album, released in 1988, on cassette tape and dubbed a copy for me (a real treat in our house growing up) after realizing that I enjoyed listening to it so much.
