A man who appeared in “From G’s to Gents,” an MTV reality show that sought to transform misdirected Gs, or “gangstas” into gentlemen, has been charged with murder in Miami, reports the Associated Press. Baron “Dirty” Colon, 24, of Miami Gardens, was featured on the second season of “From G’s to Gents” in 2009 and police say he was a suspect in a Miami Gardens murder even while he was flying to Los Angeles to star in the show, The Miami Herald reported.

Ok, so he wasn’t enough of a cinderella story to go from a G to a Gent, but us pop junkies got our first real glimpse at the man who is Mikey P. So, for those of you, like myself, who are new to meeting his acquaintance, I just had to know what this six pack, gel spiked hair, hunk of south Jersey love was all about. Your girl Ifelicious will be talking to the one and only Mikey P from dirty Jersey based “hip-pop” group DaCav5. He’ll be on the upcoming MTV reality show “From G’s to Gents” which I can only imagine is inspired by MTV’s sister station VH1’s “Charm School”…hosted by mo’ sassy, mo’ classy Mo’Nique. This one will be hosted by the one and only Fonzworth Bentley who I miss from the first season of Diddy’s “Making the Band” on MTV. Jamie Foxx is the brains behind the show, and I’m definitely excited to check it out. Now, I’m even more geeked to chat with one of the cast members…and he’s HOT!!!
DaCav5’s Mikey P on MTV’s From G’s to Gents- Premieres July 15
With over three million plays on their Myspace page and a strong rapport with their fans, DaCav5 is gaining ground on a national level.
