UPDATE May 27, 2011- Jeff Conaway passed away today…(prior report) Actor Jeff Conaway is on the “razor’s edge,” fighting for his life against pneumonia and a blood infection, according to a source familiar with Conaway’s medical condition, who asked not to be identified. The next 72 hours is crucial for Conaway’s recovery, the source said Saturday afternoon.

When I mentioned that I covered a FOX Really Awards afterparty last week to a friend, they responded, “They give awards for reality television?” It made me pause as well…and laugh a little, but I looked over the categories, and it’s all in good fun. The channel will end operations on March 31, Fox Networks Group said, although its library of programs may continue airing for an unspecified period.
