With “The House that Jack Built” DVD recently released just in time for Halloween, producing partners Kris Black and Bruce Reisman are bidding a fond farewell to the horror-flick genre with the completion of their “love-hate letter” to independent horror movie-making “Blood Effects.”…early 2011 release.
I was overjoyed to hear that Bruce Reisman of FourTwoFive Films wanted to sit down and talk to me. As you’ll read, Bruce has an extensive resume, is not afraid to tell it like it is, and fighting to regain a foothold in the new face of Hollywood that’s filled with reality tv celebrities and younger faces.
In previous posts, I’ve mentioned Hustle and Flow’s Taryn Manning has joined the cast and that they were close to sealing the deal with Entourage star Jerry Ferrara…Now, Bruce Reisman shares the company’s intentions of pursuing Kathy Bates (from Revolutionary Road, About Schmidt, and Misery just to name a few) to join the cast.
FourTwoFive Films Bruce Reisman speaks out on why Jason Wahler is no longer on cast of Five Good Years
When I learned that Jason Wahler was going to be in the movie Five Good Years, I was excited to learn more. He was cast as Jackson, the best friend of the main character Alex (played by Kris Black). However, I soon read and Kris Black, co-owner of FourTwoFive Films the film company that wrote and is producing Five Good Years, confirmed that he is no longer on the cast for the film. With Jason, nothing’s small news. This even made Perez Hilton!
