This week began with more talk of Charlie Sheen’s fall from Hollywood grace and ended with one of the largest earthquakes in recorded history. Somewhere in between, we lost Mike Starr who was the original bassist for Alice In Chains (AIC)- a rock band out of the 80s Seattle grunge movement.
Former Danity Kane and MTV’s “Making the Band 3” with Diddy, Aubrey O’ Day made an appearance at Celebrity hotspot Millions of Milkshakes in West Hollywood on Saturday March 13th, 2010 to launch her new drink to benefit the American Red Cross for the Earthquake victims of Chile and Haiti. Not only that, but her milkshake brought the boys to the yard, in the form of Sesame Street’s own Elmo and actor Quinton Aaron from the Academy award nominated film “The Blindside” that landed Sandra Bullock Best Actress honors.

In response to the devastating Chilean and Haitian Earthquakes as tention continues to grow, with more and more supplies, infrastructure and aid workers needed in Chile and Haiti each day, former Danity Kane and MTV “Making the Band” member Aubrey O’Day answers the call by launching her signature shake at celebrity hotspot Millions of Milkshakes in West Hollywood With 20% proceeds from her shake that day going towards the American Red Cross. Aubrey encourages all her fans and Industry friends to attend in Large numbers for a great cause!
The United Nations Foundation announced today it is partnering with American Idol for an episode on February 25 dedicated to Haiti. During the Idol results show on FOX on Thursday, February 25 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), Idol winner Kris Allen will perform and will share footage of his trip to Haiti with the UN Foundation to raise awareness and funds that will benefit the United Nations as it works with Haitians to help rebuild the country.
Thanks to all of you who joined me on Twitter in the smack talk as we watched the Grammys. It made watching that much more fun. I haven’t compared my picks to the actual winners list yet, but I know I shouldn’t be a betting gal. Last night was Team Beyonce and Team Taylor Swift. Beyonce broke the record for the most Grammys won by a female in, and Taylor…well, she writes her own music as if nobody else does. Seriously, Taylor took home 4 Grammys including Album of the Year. Kanye West, yet again, was in M.I.A. which we all can’t help but to attribute that to America’s 20 year old sweetheart, Taylor Swift.
