n 1990, the British dance music production duo by the name of DNA (Nick Batt and Neal Slateford) took the a capella “Tom’s Diner,” by Suzanne Vega, and created a catchy dance music mix that was a club anthem and still a classic…eventually peaking at #5 on the Hot 100.

Up-and-coming rock band Radio Silence NYC have teamed up with not-for-profit organization – the largest organization for young people and social change nationwide– to promote an important message about tolerance via their debut music video. The video for their song “Renegade” opens with the sad reminder that 6 out of 10 American teens witness bullying at least once a day.

Oxygen announces open casting calls for “The Glee Project,” Myspace audition shortlist announced Nov 19

“The Glee Project” with open calls in Chicago on Saturday, December 18 and Sunday, December 19 and in Dallas on Saturday, January 8 and Sunday, January 9…performers will compete for a multi-episode guest-starring role on season three of hit series “Glee,” will premiere on Oxygen in June 2011…All of the 34,000 applications submitted through the earlier MySpace/”Glee” auditions have now been processed and the shortlisted applicants will be contacted by Friday, November 19.
